There is a circular hallway around it with various alcoves that presumably have equipment of various uses (such as their 3D printer). The center (approximately on-par with "the Hub" on the main deck, appears to be a primary cargo bay. "The Garage" (named by Judy when Maureen asks "where is your father?") The ladder at one end is the same one that is used to access the garage from the main deck as shown when Penny falls down from the main deck and lands in the water in episode 3. There is a ladder at both ends (as seen in back-and-forth shots in episode 3). There appears to be an access corridor between the fuel tanks.
